More than a hundred colorfully costumed dancers are set to take the stage for the Virginia Ballet Company's much loved performance of Tchaikovsky's holiday favorite. In fact, this Nutcracker has thrilled generations for more than 60 years, making it the longest-running classical ballet production in the Northern Virginia region. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the magical story of young Clara, who dreams that her new toy nutcracker soldier has come to life.
