California and Texas musicians merge in the blues band Golden State-Lone Star Revue. Mark Hummel, Little Charlie Baty and Anson Funderburgh have all known each other for years, and some even played with each other in bands since high school. Hummel plays West Coast harmonica-led blues -- a fusion of classic Chicago blues with rock 'n' roll and jump blues elements -- and has released 17 recordings. Baty is the former leader and guitarist from Little Charlie and the Nightcats, which has recorded 12 albums and toured internationally for over 25 years. And Funderburgh has played guitar on projects for artists like Delbert McClinton, Boz Scaggs, Jimmie & Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ronnie Earl. Learn More

We enjoyed these guys so much. Very faithful covers of the Beatles songs and I am a hard core Beatles fan. You can tell the band loves the Beatles as well and it comes through in their performance. I would recommend Sun Kings to anyone who loves the Beatles. It's the music that will always be played and they play it extremely well. Thanks.
Ever wonder what the Beatles would have sounded like had they reunited? The Bay Area’s own Sun Kings have been thrilling packed clubs with their musical tribute to the Beatles. Their attention to detail is uncanny and their energy reminiscent of the joy and excitement felt at a real Beatles concert. Every member of the Sun Kings has been a huge Beatles fan since childhood. As they pursued their individual musical endeavors, pre-Sun Kings, they all counted the Beatles as their biggest influence. Don’t expect to see John, Paul, George, or Ringo look-alikes. Do expect to hear your favorite Beatles’ songs performed brilliantly, as you’ve come to know and love them. And of course, expect to have a FAB-ulous time. So, in answer to the question: Ever wonder what The Beatles might have sounded like had they reunited? We’ll never know, but come check out The Sun Kings. You just might get an idea …
