The event itself was a great experience. There was lots of action in short spurts and enough time in between to place bets, get drinks and people watch. It was nice having seats to come back to especially as the day went on and the crowds really packed in. It was too sunny or hot, but I imagine if it had been, that I would have really liked having a reserved and covered spot.

I loved the race, but next time I won't bother springing for expensive seats - we sat in them once for about 10 minutes. Between checking out the horses in the saddle barn, placing a bet, enjoying food and beverage, we had to hurry back just so we were able to watch the races standing near the rail - which was just fine in my book, anyway.

Although we didn't win, we had a great time and witnessed an historic event. The seats were great! We've attended Santa Anita Racetrack before and had seats in the box, which were not assigned and seemed tight. The Grandstand seats we had for the Breeder's Cup were close to enough to the track, with MUCH more leg room and a bit wider than the box seats. Definitely would recommend the Grandstand seats to anyone.
