Parking is $15 on site. Plentious (remember where you park, as there are no markers!). Tix are well organized will-call by last name. High school students serve as ushers to help you carry coolers, blankets, chairs, umbrellas to the green (but you'll have to carry them back all by yourself). Hit the ladies room before intermission, as there will be more than a 20-minute line. Tables and lawn are more comfortable than bench seating.info • Jul 15 2013 star this tip starred
Arrive early for a couple of reasons: better sitting arraingments; even if you have an assigned table, such is was in my case, there were other people already sitting at my table. they were polite enough to make some space for us, but you get my point...travel • Aug 13 2013 star this tip starred

I misunderstood the program when I purchased tickets. I mainly wanted to go because Derek Hough was appearing, and the title was "Dance Fever," so I thought it was a dance program. It was the LA Philharmonic performing featuring Derek Hough, so I was a bit disappointed. In the beginning, the screen that was projecting the concert for the audience had a black patch in the center of it, and was very distracting. They fixed it about a half hour into the performance. Throughout the performance, the sound was scratchy, so that was also distracting. Other than all that, the music was good and very relaxing.
Concerts begin at 7:30pm. Gates open at 5:30pm for dining & live jazz.
