Pack a picnic

Parking is $15 on site. Plentious (remember where you park, as there are no markers!). Tix are well organized will-call by last name. High school students serve as ushers to help you carry coolers, blankets, chairs, umbrellas to the green (but you'll have to carry them back all by yourself). Hit the ladies room before intermission, as there will be more than a 20-minute line. Tables and lawn are more comfortable than bench seating.

The weather was great, however as soon as the sun settled, my hoodie was much welcome. In short - sunscreen and a hat while the sun is out and a blanket after the sunset!.

Bringing your own food is definetely a better choice - I was not impressed by options available at food stands.

Bring your own food and beverage as dining choices are extremely limited.

The venue at Santa Anita Park is inferior to the previous Arboretum location. The walk from the parking lot to the green forces you to go through a tunnel both in and... continued

We enjoyed it. However, it was misrepresented. Derek Hough danced only TWICE!!
We went to the event to see him dance and when his dancing consumed only about 10-15 minutes of the program it was extremely disappointing.

First impressions set the tone, so to start with: How bleepin' DARE they charge $15.00 for parking? Sure, we could have cruised the streets and schlepped our picnic a... continued
