Grammy-nominated singer and pianist Michael Feinstein debuts his new position as Principal Conductor for the Pasadena POPS in this summer concert under the stars. A master of the Great American Songbook, five-time GRAMMY nominee Feinstein will lead the orchestra in a celebration of America's greatest music like you've never heard before, including Bernstein's Candide Overture, Ferde Grofé's rarely heard "March for Americans," the original restored score of the Judy Garland Carnegie Hall Overture, plus special salutes to Benny Goodman, Nelson Riddle and Henry Mancini. Relax in the picnic setting of this intimate outdoor venue and enjoy the show as Feinstein is joined by two of his closest musical friends on stage for this milestone event: Cheyenne Jackson (television's Glee and 30 Rock, and Broadway's All Shook Up and Xanadu) and country music star Lari White ("Now I Know" and "That's My Baby"). Written on Jun 29 2012I enjoyed the show but the sound was not great. Also the video screens were really small and it was difficult to see them from where people were sitting on the lawn.

Written on Jun 24 2012Youth orchestra pre-show was great. First half very enjoyable, especially Marvin Hamlish. Not as pleased with 2nd half, left early. Traffic & parking challenging, but shuttles very good.

Written on Jun 20 2012This was a very enjoyable event. The ambiance the crowd and most of all the performance by the Psadnena Pops, additionally the event help was great. The tram that is provided was also a plus. I would highly recommend this event.

Description
The concert begins at 7:30pm, with gates opening at 5:30pm, and will last approximately two hours with one brief intermission. Guests are advised to dress comfortably and bring a jacket or sweater for the evening as it will get cool. For safety reasons, open flames (candles, lanterns, etc.) are not permitted.
Feel free to bring your own picnic meals and beverages. For your convenience, patrons also have the option to pre-order meals from Pasadena POPS' preferred restaurant partners for onsite pick-up, or enjoy one of the delicious food trucks onsite. Full cash bar and beverages will be available inside the venue.

Table Seating:
All seating in Sections A, B, C or D are tables seats. The venue provides round tables of 6 (48 inches) and tables of 10 (60 inches) with linens and chairs. Tickets in these sections are assigned individual tables but seating at the table is open seating.
Lawn Seating:
This is a general admission seating area where you can spread out a picnic blanket or bring your own low-back chair.
