Not bad, overall...parking was a little problematic, a bit of a walk, but it turned out OK. Seating was random, really far from the stage with very small screens...sound system was a bit one-dimensional and the lighting was primitive...the concert itself was OK...the kid's symphony was pretty good, producing an impressive sound...the Phil was also very professional sounding...Hamlish playing classical variations on Happy Birthday was amusing, Robert Klein doing his schtick was pretty funny (I've been a long time fan of his humor) and Lucy Arnez did her best, especially singing the songs of her father and the few tunes from They're Playing Our Song. An overall enjoyable evening...hope they work out some of the kinks, as this was the first concert at this venue!
The concert begins at 7:30pm, with gates opening at 5:30pm, and will last approximately two hours with one brief intermission. Guests are advised to dress comfortably and bring a jacket or sweater for the evening as it will get cool. For safety reasons, open flames (candles, lanterns, etc.) are not permitted.
