As a 77-year old, familiar with nearly all Beatles music, I found this both highly enjoyable and nostaligic. My 75-year old wife felt the same.

The show was good but somewhat lackluster. There was no story line or narration, just a succession of Beatles songs, which were well performed. The musicians changed outfits and hairstyles inkeeping with the decades, but the show would have been enriched by some dialogue and narration.

More Details About This Event:

The national touring stage show comes to the Regent for one night only. Don’t miss this incredible recreation of the Beatles. The show presents the world’s greatest band in three separate eras of their existence.  Beatlemania Again has received critical acclaim worldwide, not only for the outstanding musical reproduction it presents, but also for the incredible costume changes and authentic musical instruments played by the band.

Act One: Meet the Beatles

Beatlemania Again begins the re-creation of The Beatles phenomenon with an incredible simulation starting with Act One, "Meet the Beatles". The stage show starts by featuring hits from 1963 to 1966. The production captures the energy and excitement of The Beatles live performances with the original sounds of the albums.

Act One's authenticity is showcased by actual
instruments and amplifiers used by The Beatles. The look is astonishing with the fine tailored black velvet suits even down to the famous Beatle boots.

During Act One, Beatlemania Again features a second costume change specifically showcasing the 1965-1966 period of The Beatles, with classic turtle necks underneath black velvet suits. Beatlemania Again is the only Beatles Stage Show that offers this unique transition during Act One.

Act Two: Sgt. Pepper

Beatlemania Again colorfully returns to the stage with Act Two, "Sgt. Pepper". 1967 was the recording of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, marking the beginning of The Beatles next phase in making music history. Although The Beatles themselves were not able to perform these songs live due to technology, Beatlemania Again performs the songs with no sequencing, backing tracks or offstage musicians. Everything is performed live!

In Act Two, the production wardrobe features vibrant Sgt. Pepper silk costumes, authentic makeup and facial accessories.

Act Three: Get Back

Beatlemania Again metamorphosizes right before your eyes representing the last phase of The Beatles career in Act Three, "Get Back". Performing hits from 1968 to The Beatles breakup in 1970, Beatlemania Again brings to the stage the charisma and emotion that was hidden behind the walls of Apple and Abbey Road Studios

This portion of the production features the individual personalities of John, Paul, George and Ringo. The four were going their separate ways, yet Beatlemania Again performs with the magic and passion that The Beatles always possessed.
