Mort Sahl Live: An Evening With a Comedy Legend
Legendary Comedian Mort Sahl: The First Modern Stand-Up
The term "legendary" gets thrown around a lot, but when it comes to comedian Mort Sahl it's definitely appropriate. Sahl was the first humorist on the cover of Time
, the first performer to make a comedy album, and the first non-musician to win a Grammy. He's been performing his routine, a mix of political satire and personal stories, for nearly 60 years and is still as sharp as ever. If you want to see who inspired comedians like Woody Allen, Bill Maher and Drew Carey then you've got to watch Sahl's provocative and insightful show.
