Rebecca Parris and her illustrious trio were the cat's whiskers. They were entertaining, relaxed, great musicianship and rapport with the audience.
The only thing which would have made the concert better would have been chair service.

Quotes & Highlights

“Parris gives fresh life to standards and a new gleam to superb, lesser-known gems. Her intelligence, class, and masterful musicianship have long been respected among her peers.” —allaboutjazz.com
“Her voice sets her apart from any other vocalist on record today. A mood that transcends the ordinary, that in one moment exudes warmth and is poignant, in another driving hard and swinging.” —Shirley Horn
“Best of all, she sings with power, conviction, originality, total believability. She is that rare bird: the true jazz singer with the soul of an entertainer.” —Jazztimes

About the Ticket Supplier: Regent Theatre

The Regent Theatre opened its doors in 1916 as one of Greater Boston's premier vaudeville houses. The venue has undergone many permutations since then and has served the community for 90 years as of October, 2006. In recent years, the Regent Theatre family has been proud to bring back live performances to this historical space and is again becoming a hot spot for theatre and concert goers in the Greater Boston community. Our seating is spacious and comfortable with more- than- ample leg room and the sightlines are great from every seat in the house. Easily accessible by public transportation, we are located in the heart of Arlington Center where there is plenty of free parking after 6pm directly across the street in the municipal lot.
