One of the nation's top touring stand-up comics, Godfrey is also in high demand as an actor, appearing in the films Zoolander, Original Gangstas and Soul Plane. He has also made multiple appearances on BET's Comic View and VH1, was a cast member on the first season of The It Factor and starred in a major series of commercials for 7Up. Recently, he's filmed an hour-long stand-up special for Comedy Central, begun development on an animated series for FOX, and made appearances on TV's 30 Rock and Louie. Godfrey brings a wide-eyed humor and an arsenal of funny voice characters to the stage as he delves into the important questions in life, such as "what if guido bouncers ran security at the airport?" The first two acts were a little slow, but Sebastian is by far my favorite comedian. Every time he comes to town we go see him and are never disappointed. And, he is always so nice to stay around the show afterwards for autographs and photos.
Quotes & Highlights
See a video of Maniscalco’s appearance on The Tonight Show.
Sebastian’s facial expressions and complete disgust with human behavior has given him the reputation as one of the most sought after comedians working today. His show-stopping performance at the “Just For Laughs” Montreal Comedy Festival and his upcoming appearance in Showtime’s “Comedy Slam” airing this September has audiences across the country screaming for more of his unique brand of humor.
Most recently, he has starred in the film Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show and his Comedy Central Presents special is the highest rated comedy special on OnDemand. Sebastian’s humor also created memorable spots on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, twice on the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen.
