Miraculously retaining its comic timing and timeless wit more than a century later, Jerome K. Jerome's Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) was originally published as a hilarious novel in 1889. Written as a travelogue, the lively story tells of three young men -- and a devoted terrier named Montmorency (played here by ... well, not a dog) -- on a boating holiday that quickly devolves into a series of absurd misadventures. Directed by Derek Goldman (and featuring D.C. theater favorites Tim Getman, Tom Story, Rob Jansen and Alex Mills), this adaptation brings to life one of the funniest novels of all time in a must-see show.
