Signature Theatre turns the MAX Theatre into a divine disco ball for its latest production. Based on the camp classic 1980 film, Xanadu was a surprise Broadway hit when it was adapted into a musical. This hilarious, award-winning comedy tells the story of a Greek Muse sent to Earth to inspire a struggling artist. The unexpected side effects of her adventure include discovering true love and building the world's first roller disco. The show features hit songs by Electric Light Orchestra and Olivia Newton-John, including "Magic," "Suddenly," "I Am Alive" and "Xanadu." Learn More

Use free garage on Randolph Street behind Cake Love. It's the best and quite easy.

Pretty darn good theatre! This is the first time I have ever used GOLDSTAR in Washington DC. I'm glad to know that I can always get 1/2 priced tickets when I travel this way again.Written on Oct 01 2010

Wish we had seen it sooner so we could have seen it again--it was that good. The band was terrific, the voices excellent, including the ensemble. A very engaging story. I especially loved how the 3 main characters each had solo songs that allowed them to "think out loud" and soul-search. All three of them were tops. The one area that detracted from the performance was the dancing of the ensemble, particularly the girls. They sure could sing, but they did not move like dancers.Written on Oct 02 2010

I enjoyed this play. A little darker than I expected. My assigned seat was in the next to the last row and the acoustics were not fabulous as I was at the same level as the rock band orchestra. It was hard to hear the words some times.Written on Oct 02 2010
