It was well done. I would highly recommend the venue consider expanding the number of tix available thru this service — since in this case the audience was very small, comics need an audience, and they sell food anyways! I think it is limiting everyone to cap tix to 6 or so per show. Other than a small audience, the performers were much stronger than I expected - especially for a first night event of this series. I applaud the venue for trying live comedy and plan to return.
L. Banks There were 4 comedians vying for a spot in the finals and they were all good. After their performance you got to vote on your favorite. 3 of the 4 were crack-up funny! We had a great time.

More Details About This Event: Arlington Drafthouse has selected 24 of the area’s up-and-coming stand-up comics to compete over 7 weeks for the audience, and a panel of judges to select the best. The winner will get two feature spots at the Drafthouse for future shows and $1,500 in cash! Come follow your favorite comedians as they compete for the grand prize.
About Arlington Cinema N Drafthouse: The Drafthouse is a historic 1930s art deco theater that has been converted into a comfortable unique restaurant/theater with comfortable chairs and table side service. They offer a full restaurant menu including appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and, of course, popcorn.
