No Rules Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Personal(s), a stage adaptation of two movies -- Blind Date, an award-winning indie directed by Theo van Gogh, and a remake of the same name directed by Oscar-nominee Stanley Tucci. In the play -- as in both films -- estranged husband and wife Don and Janna go on a series of "blind dates" with each other in an effort to salvage their marriage. But their creative attempts have a deeper purpose than simply rekindling a romance: They are trying desperately to find a way to discuss the painful loss that threatens to tear them apart forever. Similar to Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Personal(s) offers an intensely raw and unfiltered look at two people on the edge. Drama Desk Award-winner Josh Hecht directs Helen Hayes winner Anne Kanengeiser, Michael Kramer and Spencer Trinwith in Brian Sutow's heartbreaking and hilarious adaptation. Learn More

Written on Jun 25 2012Intense, powerful version of a taut play. Sitting in the front row, I almost felt like I was sitting in teh living room as thrown papers, spewed liquids, and verbal barbs all found their way to within inches of me.
Written on Jun 25 2012Deep meaning but deceptively entertaining.
Written on Jun 25 2012Hilarious. Well written. Acting was superb.
Written on Jun 25 2012Well acted, set was picture perfect, and the entire production was well worth the goldstar price.
