Signature Theatre turns the MAX Theatre into a divine disco ball for its latest production. Based on the camp classic 1980 film, Xanadu was a surprise Broadway hit when it was adapted into a musical. This hilarious, award-winning comedy tells the story of a Greek Muse sent to Earth to inspire a struggling artist. The unexpected side effects of her adventure include discovering true love and building the world's first roller disco. The show features hit songs by Electric Light Orchestra and Olivia Newton-John, including "Magic," "Suddenly," "I Am Alive" and "Xanadu." Learn More

The show was good, but I don't think I was quite prepared for the subject matter. I saw one person walk out of the theater during a particularly questionable scene. That said the show was well produced and the music and sound was perfect!Written on Apr 30 2007

More Information About Nest (Formerly Titled Susanna Cox
Description
Written by Bathsheba Doran
Directed by Joe Calarco
Susanna Cox, a Mennonite accused of infanticide in 1809, was the first woman to be hanged in the state of Pennsylvania. In this new play based on the events surrounding her death sentence, nineteenth century America comes to life, and looks surprisingly familiar. British playwright Bathsheba Doran moved to New York on a Fulbright Scholarship and was formerly a playwriting fellow at Juilliard.
