In his native Montevideo, Uruguay, Petru Valenski is a popular comedian, TV star and stage actor. Now he presents the U.S. premiere of his new solo show, which weaves the delicate thread of a musical revue through the aesthetic of a café concert as he uses songs, poetry and monologues to bring his audience to laughter. With a focus on situational and physical comedy, Valenski's brand of humor is universal in its appeal. He's a much-loved veteran of Teatro de la Luna's International Festival of Hispanic Theater, having appeared in Más Loca que una Cabra (As Crazy as a Loon) and, more recently, in Atrevidos (The 3 Rascals).
