I did not like this play at all, and spent the last half of the first act looking at my watch and wondering why the minute hand was so slow.
I did not stay for the second act.
Anyone attending this play should be aware that the first act is quite disturbing.
By the way, I understand from a play synopsis that three stories are told, not just two. That greatly increases the waste of time facor for this play.

An interesting perspecitive on the truth. The male singers were all wonderful. The only thing that stops it from being 4 stars was the female lead singer who had a very weak voice

This was a musical where you really have to follow the story and pay attention, otherwise you'll get lost fairly easily.

The musical is broken up into two acts. The first act follows a murder in Central Park. The police have four suspects and they get conflicting stories from each suspect.

The second act follows a priest who has lost his faith. He concocts a hoax in Central Park that starts gaining traction in the media and becomes out-of-control.

All in all, I enjoyed this musical a great deal. There are adult themes and simulated (clothed) sex acts. So definitely don't bring the kids.

It was an okay show. Some will like it, some won't. Maybe I just didn't understand this type of musical. Overall good acting, but not the best of voices. Don't bring the kids to this show.
