For his one-man ode to an idol, actor Julian Sands (A Room With a View, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) combines the poems and political prose of Nobel Prize-winning British poet and playwright Sir Harold Pinter. Pinter earned acclaim for his plays The Caretaker and The Birthday Party, and was famously outspoken about international human rights abuses and U.S. foreign policy. Sands' homage will include his own personal anecdotes culled from working with Pinter shortly before the writer's death in 2008. Acclaimed actor-director John Malkovich -- who's directed a number of Pinter plays and acted alongside Sands -- helmed this internationally renowned production. Learn More

When the chorale began to sing the first note, we were blown away by the sound of the venue and the beautiful voices of the singers. My wife: "I didn't know people could produce such beautiful sounds." The acoustics in the hall were so good that you could look at one of the singers and pick their voice out. It was a fantastic show that I would very highly recommend. We brought our 5 and 8 year old children and I will give two warnings on that. The show is about 1 hour and 40 minutes with no intermission and there were no other children in the audience. We will definitely be back next year.
