Lush, vivid, startling chords mark one of Sergei Rachmaninoff's finest contributions to the world of music, his liturgical symphony All-Night Vigil -- also known as Vespers. This 1915 work not only stands as one of Rachmaninoff's most acclaimed compositions, ingeniously integrating traditional Russian chant melodies, but also represents the crowning achievement of the Golden Age of Russian Orthodox sacred choral music. This All-Night Vigil won't literally have you in the concert hall until dawn, but it does promise to take you on a musical journey through truly awe-inspiring choral sounds. Learn More

Christopher O'Riley is an extrodinary pianist, but his repertoir has failed to make this an enjoyable eving for us. Abstract movie scene music, from years ago and his peronal favorites should make room for the taste and preferences of the audience.
