Atlanta's "best local playwright" (Creative Loafing, The GA Voice) Topher Payne revisits the social-climbing Tuttle family of Columbus, Georgia, first introduced in his hit farce Lakebottom Proper. Mother-of-the-groom Priscilla Tuttle is determined to pull off the perfect waterside wedding, circa 1924, but the walk down the aisle is booby-trapped by a mother-of-the-bridezilla, malaria-ridden bridesmaids and the city's plan to drain the lake, which threatens to reveal something the Tuttles are desperate to keep under water. The Process Theatre Company presents the local premiere of this new broad comedy, directed by DeWayne Morgan. Learn More

Very well done production. I saw this play performed at the Alliance Theater a few years back and must say that this one at Onstage Atlanta was up-close and personal. I enjoyed every aspect of it -- the acting was terrific, believable and sometimes downright disturbing. Great job!
