In one of the latest works by Pulitzer Prize-winning David Mamet (American Buffalo, Glengarry Glen Ross), two attorneys are charged with defending a white man accused of raping an African-American woman. In the face of unraveling evidence, the lawyers' own uncomfortable beliefs about race rise to the surface. Director John Dillon tackles Mamet's rat-a-tat language and sharp jabs in this confrontational comedy that skewers modern-day "polite" society. Race premiered on Broadway in 2009 starring James Spader and David Alan Grier. Learn More

I truly enjoyed the experience of the play. But once again I was disappointed with the acoustics at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. I had a great deal of trouble understanding the words to the song and for this production in particular it's critical to understand the song words because there is no dialogue except song. I was in row V in Orchestra. I should have been able to hear everything!

The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable featuring an award-winning score by the legendary composing team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubblegum-pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. The score includes such classics as "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door." This production stars American Idol's Anthony Fedorov and is performed with a special chorus of more than 50 local Atlanta kids.
