What do two disgruntled angels, a gay Scrooge and two hilariously outrageous female comedians have in common? They're all part of Mary, Did You Know?, a fun, song-filled gay celebration for the holidays. Filled with holiday tunes that will make both Santa's nice and naughty lists, this show is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy plenty of laughs -- and a couple of show-stopping musical numbers -- in the process. We are so lucky to live in walking distance of Emory and attend events like this. There was plenty to love in this production-- some excellent performances. The actor who played Hecate was a particular standout in a small role-- will look for his work elsewhere. Very accessible to a mix of tenth graders and their parents. I have mixed feelings re: the use of technology-- some of it was effective, some aspects were a bit distracting. But compelling and accessible to a wide audience.
