In one of the latest works by Pulitzer Prize-winning David Mamet (American Buffalo, Glengarry Glen Ross), two attorneys are charged with defending a white man accused of raping an African-American woman. In the face of unraveling evidence, the lawyers' own uncomfortable beliefs about race rise to the surface. Director John Dillon tackles Mamet's rat-a-tat language and sharp jabs in this confrontational comedy that skewers modern-day "polite" society. Race premiered on Broadway in 2009 starring James Spader and David Alan Grier. Learn More

I thoroughly enjoyed the production as a whole. I was disappointed in the lead, SHREK. I think he could have given a better performance. But the show was funny and the scenery was wonderful. I have to admit the children were a little routey but come on folks it's a child's production. You have to expect to be a lot more patient of the audience. The DRAGON was the ultimate! It was enjoyable and I am not sorry I went.

Shrek the Musical, based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to life the stage.
In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre – not a handsome prince – shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a villain with a short temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.
Featuring a terrific score of 19 all-new songs, big laughs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery, Shrek the Musical is part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun for everyone!
