Hide the kids -- Krampus the Christmas Demon is back for the fourth year in a row with an all-new adventure, accompanied by the Little Five Points Rockstar Orchestra, Syrens of the South and the 7 Stages Hand Bell Choir. Based on a decidedly dark European folk figure, Krampus doesn't leave coal for the wee naughty ones -- he actually beats them with birch rods and stuffs them into his sack. 7 Stages' irreverent anti-Santa story is for those adults who prefer their holiday musicals Krampusly krass and krazy. The overall experience was good. However, 7 stages had several technical difficulties and the Syren's folks while they apologized that was all that was offered. If you have one or two technical difficulties I can let it go but if you have several; you should offer your customers something to show you don't take their time and consideration for granted. I elected to celebrate my Bday with this show and I was disappointed by the last act.
Scheduled to perform:
The Magic of Chad Sanborn
E-CuPP (Bourgeois Betty and Persephone Phoenix)
Hot Toddies Flaming Cabaret
From Kentucky: Violet Vixxxen
and many more!
About the Ticket Supplier: Syrens of the South Productions, LLC
The Atlanta based production company Syrens of the South was conceived in February of 2007. On August 18, 2007, The Syrens of the South produced their first full show simply entitled Syrens of the South Speakeasy Night at The Highland Inn Ball Room Lounge. Having been featured in Creative Loafing's See & Do section, it was a sold out show which proved to be the first of many for this new endeavor.
In September 2009, the two year old company was named First Runner-up for Creative Loafing Atlanta's Best Burlesque Troupe, the same day they appeared on the Travel Channel.
