I'm new to ATL and this was my first play at the Fox - PS Beautiful facility. However, if you attend this event or any other event at the FOX, avoid the side doors that the ushers have open. I thought the door would lead me to steps inside the building, instead, the doors lead you outside to the sides of the building. Once outside, then you have to walk about 1.5 blocks to get to the front of the Fox again. Also, no restrooms when you go out this way. What's the point of paying $25 to park across the street from the FOX when the ushers send you to exits at the back/side of the building. Definitely not fair to seniors who paid to park closer so they wouldn't have to walk this distance or maneuver the steep steps. Luckily it had stopped raining when the play ended. Definitely the walk would be worse in the rain or winter.

The cast was phenomenal. Beautiful cast voices. Loved the individuality of each part. The actors played them so well and can usually name my favorite. Not this time. They were all my favorite. Very funny too.

This is a must see. The acting and singing are great. The storyline is a hoot. Such a pleasurable night at the theatre.

Quotes & Highlights

Learn more about The Addams Family on the musical’s national tour website.

The weird and wonderful family comes to devilishly delightful life in The Addams Family. This magnificently macabre new musical comedy is “a visually satisfying, rib-tickling, lunatic musical that will entertain you to death!” says Toronto Post City. Created by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, Drama Desk-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party_), choreographer Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys_) and Olivier Award-winning director/designers Phelim McDermott & Julian Crouch (Shockheaded Peter) with production supervision by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, The Addams Family “is full of charm, wit and surprises that explain why it’s a hit on its national tour” (CBS New Orleans).

The Addams Family features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Come meet the family. We’ll leave the lights off for you.
