The mischievous Cat in the Hat joins everyone's favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including the grouchy Grinch, Gertrude McFuzz and lazy Mayzie to bring the author's beloved tales to life on stage. Adapted from the Broadway version especially for young audiences, Seussical Jr.'s stories are linked together by Horton the Elephant, who's out to prove that "a person's a person, no matter how small," and JoJo, a young boy who's a "thinker of strange and wonderful thinks." The colorful cast adventures through the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus and the invisible world of the Whos of Whoville. The whimsical stories are backed by myriad musical styles, from Latin to pop, swing to gospel and R&B to funk. Dr. Seuss' sense of fun and wonder comes through loud and clear, making this a musical that appeals to all ages. Learn More

It was difficult to hear/see the play from the seats we were assigned (second to last row, far right). The seats are not staggered particularly well for those in the very back. The show had some great lines, but the singing wasn't as good as we thought it could have been. Overall, disappointing compared to other Goldstar events.
