The tenacious spirit of three foster children provides the core of U Don't Know Me, presented by Tyler Perry (Diary of a Mad Black Woman). Penned by Mark E. Swinton (Black Olive), this moving musical has won multiple NAACP Theatre Awards. It tells the story of Nick, Alonzo and Shalon, three misunderstood kids who must claw their way out of the system and the streets. In the process, they defy expectations -- overcoming obstacles like drugs and lack of family support -- and go on to achieve undreamed of success.

Wonderful production. Incredible playwriting, set, cast, choreography and singing. Touched on many issues of our "lost generation", which on a few I did not agree but overall a good show.
