Trout Fishing in America: Folk/Pop Family Duo
Four-time Grammy nominees Trout Fishing in America have reeled in fans both young and old with their infectious mix of folk and pop. Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet draw on the wide-ranging influences of rock, reggae, electronica, Latin, blues, jazz and classical music to create a one-of-a-kind groove the whole family will enjoy. With songs like "My Hair Had a Party Last Night" and "Hello, My Chicken Thinks He's a Dog," the guitar-bass duo, who took their name from a Richard Brautigan beat novel, has been dubbed "the Lennon and McCartney of kids' music" by NPR. Their latest release is a combination children's book and CD, Chicken Joe Forgets Something Important.
