Now in its 39th year, A Prairie Home Companion is a beloved throwback to old time radio shows and a time when the whole family would gather around the living room for a weekly visit with their favorite characters. Written and hosted by Garrison Keillor since it began production in 1974, A Prairie Home Companion is heard on over 600 public radio stations across the country. Every week, listeners (and the live studio audience) check in with the residents of the fictional idyllic town of Lake Wobegon. In between comedy skits, the show features folk music acts. A Prairie Home Companion was recently made into a feature film by director Robert Altman. This show will also feature special guests Colin Hay, Paula Poundstone, Jearlyn and Jevetta Steele, Martin Sheen and Lily Tomlin. Learn More

Written on May 16 2012Great show! It's so nice to just go out and laugh! Also nice to know that the comedy is not x-rated!
Written on May 15 2012Absolutely brilliant! Colin and Brad were able to put together an audience based improv show that relied on intelligent humor. We haven't laughed so hard for years!
Written on May 14 2012The first half of the show had 2 or 3 routines that were not very funny and went on too long. After the intermission, it was very enjoyable, though "the most dangerous improv" skit, which was very good, is probably performed at all their shows.
Written on May 14 2012Show was great, so funny and audience participation was a fun surprize.
