Act a Lady: A Midwestern Comedic Fable
- Full Price:
- $18.00
- Our Price:
- $9.00
This isn't the kind of play you see every day, but after watching it, you might wish you could. Act a Lady is a transformative comedy about middle-American cross-dressers. When the men of a small Prohibition-era town decide to put on a play dressed in "fancy-type, women-type clothes," the whole community is affected. Gender lines blur, eyebrows raise, identities explode, and life and art are forever entangled. Act a Lady is a lively and thoughtful Midwestern fable about the woman in every man, the man in every woman, and the power of theater to uncover both. It's good, clean, cross-dressing fun for the whole family. Learn More
