The Baltimore zone is undergoing some well needed renovations. The exhibit with the great apes was great - the zoo keeper gave a great presentation. The same can be said for the penguin exhibit. It would be nice to have those same types of presentations for all the exhibits. I would have liked an interactive discussion about the polar bears and rhinos but either I missed it or they didn't have it.

Due to the installation of the new exhibit, please note the Maryland Zoo will be closed Monday, September 22 through Friday September 26. It will re-open for business on Saturday, September 27.
