Combining the best of traditional sounds and today's smooth format, the talented group Jazz Synergy hits the stage at The Blue Dolphin for an exciting night of up-tempo music. Featuring vocalist Mark Staggers, whose unique, soulful sound brings to mind Luther Vandross, and saxophonist Sharon Thomas, a local favorite who has performed with several national artists, this group has the chops to turn each night into a jazz-fueled party. Stilt walkers and balloon animals will fill the lobby of Centerstage as the Party Animals bring their rock-n-roll show and pre-show carnival to Baltimore! Renowned internationally and a hit along the West Coast, the Party Animals are a playful rock band aimed at children ages 2 years old through 10.
There is a pre-show where stilt walkers and aerialist entertain on the stage as well as face painters and balloon artists in the lobby making sure all the kids are ready for the concert. The Party Animals then take the stage dressed as animal rock stars, to perform a 45 minute set, a collection of original songs and children’s classics. Children are encouraged to stand up, sing along and dance. After the show, there is a meet and greet with the cast, allowing the kids to go home with autographs, pictures and stickers.
The Party Animals are widely popular in Southern California and have travelled extensively throughout Europe as the first entertainment booked by the USO to entertain the families of troops living on bases abroad.
