Celebrate the 50th anniversary of an American classic as Tony nominee Jonathan Hadary (Gypsy, Spamalot) makes his Arena Stage debut as Tevye, a humble Jewish dairyman who's tested daily by his five tradition-defying daughters. But when dangerous forces threaten the village's way of life, Teyve's faith and love for his family give him strength to fight for his home and the traditions of his people. Winner of nine Tony Awards, this celebration of family, community and life's unexpected miracles is filled with unforgettable songs, including "If I Were a Rich Man," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" and "Sunrise, Sunset." Amazing that so many popular songs came from one awful movie. It was good to hear them in the context of the story line. Good food, silly but enjoyable show, updated jokes helped, not West Side Story or Dream Girls, BUT glad we went.

Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children, and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired. You will enjoy this camped-up spoof of the 1980s movie starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.
It is a hilarious, roller skating musical adventure that rolls along to the original movie hit score composed by pop-rock legends Jeff Lynne and John Farrar.
Memorable songs include “Magic,” “All Over the World,” “Have You Never Been Mellow” and “Xanadu.”
