As music director for the famed San Francisco Opera since 2009, Italian maestro Nicola Luisotti has been hailed by audiences and praised by the press. He leads his acclaimed orchestra in a varied program, including symphonies by Prokofiev and Cherubini and Haydn's Cello Concerto, featuring soloist Amit Peled. This was an enjoyable show mostly because of the humour which added greatly to the acts. But the type of circus stunts perfomed were pretty standard and ordinary. The level of skill was not very high when compared to other world class performers. The comedy added a funny twist to the acts and that's what made the show more original and special.Written on Oct 12 2010
