Fantastic! McLaughlin - at age 69!?!?! - is at the top of his game. Gary husband tore it up on both keys and traps and the drum duets were unparalled, Time to get back to practicing . . .

Had never seen John McLaughlin before even though I have some of his records (the only one I liked was his first!). Because of Goldstar's good price I decided to see him for the first time. I left after about an hour in. Didn't like his guitar tone from the first note! I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised but my opinion was confirmed that he plays a lot of notes that mean nothing. The rest of the audience was really digging it though so rather than spoil the mood with my grumbling I split early!

Wonderful! Incredible! Best concert I have seen in many years.

Besides enjoying such great talent, they also played for over 2 hours without one break! Very different that most acts these day, which only play for the standard 75 minutes (standard contract time). Just good musicians doing what they enjoy.
