Catch a rising playwright during the Monday Night PlayGround series at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. For each PlayGround, a writing topic is announced to a pool of Bay Area playwrights, inviting the submission of original ten-page plays. The best six of these plays are presented as staged readings before a live audience on the third Monday of each month featuring some of the Bay Area's best directors and actors. Pre-show discussions provide additional insight into the writers' processes, the state of Bay Area theater and other aspects that emerge from the monthly topics. With a particular focus on the ten-minute form, PlayGround creates a microcosm of the greater theater scene, allowing for experimentation and risk-taking as well as the honing of style and technique. This three-ticket flex voucher allows you to use the passes for performances on December 19, 2011; January 16, 2012; February 20, 2012 or March 19, 2012. Take two friends to one show or pick three performances and attend solo.

* Additional fees apply.
