You might have to walk alittle but street parking can be found

I took the whole family and it didnt break the bank. It's great to make these family events affordable to the families. I thought it was a nice small venue where small kids can get an upclose and personal feeling for their first time experience of The Nutcracker. Most venues are more impersonal where the seating is much further from the performers - while here you can actually hear their footsteps. Alot of the family members of the little performers were there to support their kids - this adds to the family feel of the evening.
Don't expect the SF Ballet from the BBT,however, you can expect to have a pleasant evening. FYI - dress in layers because it gets hot.

My fourteen-year old daughter and I enjoyed Berkeley ballet's production of The Nutcracker---overall the dancers did a pretty good job although a few of the female dancers were a little stiff. Brian Fisher as Fritz was absolutely delightful. Julia Morgan's theater is a great little venue with a charming ambience which lent to the magical story of the Nutcracker.

My youngest grand daughter was sitting on the edge of her sit until the middle of the second act. She was ready to go home. My oldest grand daughter saw the SF ballet Nutcracker last year. She said this performance the dancers showed no emotion when dancing, moves were nice but she thought they were forced (her word), and she didn't like the story line of this production. She gave it a 2.5 stars. I thought it was OK but a little long and I didn't remember all of those mice.

Very enjoyable production with a lot of energy from the performers. I'm not very familiar with ballet but I thought the dancing was quite good.
