This is a benefit dance performance at Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills featuring Bay Area urban dance troop Jabbawokeez, Season 1 winners of America's Best Dance Crew; Team I Luminate from America's Got Talent, known for wearing illuminated suits as they dance; The Groovaloos, who have appeared on So You Think You Can Dance, One Cubed, The Wayne Brady Show, and The Ellen Show; The LXD from the webseries of the same name; Super Cr3w, a breakdance crew from Las Vegas, Nevada who won the second season of America's Best Dance Crew; and all-female breakdance crew The Beatfreaks. The evening is hosted by MADtv's Angelah Johnson and YouTube sensation Affion Crockett, with a special appearance by television personality Wayne Brady. Proceeds will benefit the Richard "Steelo" Vasquez Family Trust to support his family during his recovery from a ruptured brain aneurysm.

This was one of the most by far emotional and fantasic dance shows I have ever been to...OMG Wayne Brady did the damn thang...along with ALL the Dancers ...Everyone was absolutely breathtaking!!! My only downside is that I wish it was for more than one night!!!!Written on Dec 13 2011

The show was simply an All-Star showcase of best that hip hop and break dance has to offer. The venue was fantastic and even my cheaper seats in the upper balcony offered a great view. The hosts were a perfect mix of funny, entertaining, and respect to the audience, the dance community and to the incredible young man for whom this event was for. Typically, benefit events are tough to pull off - to have that perfect balance of heart, meaning, fun and laughter, but An Unprecedented Night of Dance: A Benefit for Steelo did it effortlessly.
