The wit and wisdom of one of America's greatest humorists comes to life in Kurt Sutton's one-man show, An Evening With Mark Twain. Channeling Twain's public speaking engagements, where he proved to be a master storyteller and skilled musician, this family friendly and very funny show includes a sing-along of period songs like "Down in the Valley" and "Old-Time Religion," along with theatrical enactments of beloved stories from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Twain's semi-autobiographical travel memoir Roughing It and more. Sutton's portrayal follows years of research into the writer's life and works, including Twain's live performances that formed the roots of modern stand-up comedy. Learn More

Bobby was great -- just as the last time I saw him in person about 10 years ago. I enjoyed the concert. My one regret was the seating -- we arrived by 7:15pm and I also had purchased my Gold Star tickets several weeks prior. The person at the counter was still sorting tickets and gave me two tickets out of the pile. We were in row M and many people that came after us were in closer seats. I asked some and confirmed they had purchased their tickets through Gold Star. I thoroughly appreciate the discounts received for the fabulous shows I am able to attend and only bring this to your attention because I don't know how seating occurs. If it is totally arbitrary, I understand -- just would like to know.
