The wit and wisdom of one of America's greatest humorists comes to life in Kurt Sutton's one-man show, An Evening With Mark Twain. Channeling Twain's public speaking engagements, where he proved to be a master storyteller and skilled musician, this family friendly and very funny show includes a sing-along of period songs like "Down in the Valley" and "Old-Time Religion," along with theatrical enactments of beloved stories from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Twain's semi-autobiographical travel memoir Roughing It and more. Sutton's portrayal follows years of research into the writer's life and works, including Twain's live performances that formed the roots of modern stand-up comedy. Learn More

Louis Black was wonderful....the sound system was not adequate however.....The upper balcony seats at this theater did not allow the sound to come through loud enough to be adequate for this one man performance. I missed about half to two thirds of the performance because it was not loud enough to decipher.....Very disappointing......the crowd that sat closer seemed to have a wonderful time......
