We went to 'The Art of Brunch' at the Taste of Beverly Hills and it was fabulous. We got there around 10:45am and stayed until 3pm (when they were very politely clearing the venue). There were so many wonderful selections in food and wine. We were happy we got there early to enjoy the free flowing champagne cocktails and other delicious treats. The bloody marys from Firefly were delicious (and strong). The beverage selections were abundant - beer, champagne, bloody marys, rum cocktails and a vast variety of wines. And, the food selections were equally diverse. We spent hours sampling treats from a wonderful variety of restaurants.

I was surprised at how much fun we had. We went to one of the cooking demonstrations, wandered through the pavilions sampling food and drinks, and just enjoyed talking to many of the vendors. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. And, the vendors were taking great pride in showing off their wonderful food and wines. I would also commend the staff for the event. They were very friendly and efficient.

It really was a fun way to spend a beautiful sunday afternoon. One of the wine vendors even commented to us about how much she enjoyed the event and that it was much more low key and cordial than a similar event in LA.

We will definitely keep our eyes out for this event next year!

Excellent event. The food was delicious. Having the opportunity to see Sonos perform was an added treat ... it was almost like a private concert. Plenty of chairs were provided plus lots of shade, so you couldn't ask for more!

So much incredible food and wine in one place! I went to the brunch session and then came back for the dinner session :) Both were awesome, it was my 30th birthday yesterday and it was the perfect thing to do with my best girlfriends (And one husband, who also very much enjoyed it.) This is a great event for anyone who appreciates good food and wine. The Bloody Marys were a fantastic morning addition as well:) Cured my hangover from the night before. It was well executed, except for 2 things: $25 is outrageous, especially since I was meeting friends there and we all had to pay. None of us wanted to take a shuttle from a far-off lot, either. Secondly, the will-call was in the hotel, quite a ways from the event. Park(for a lot of $), walk to the event, find out where will-call is, backtrack past the garage into the hotel , and then walk all the way back to the event, was a bit frustrating. Add to that the fact that all members of my party, six total, coming from all different parts of town, all had to be there at the time I picked up my tickets so that they could show their ID to drink. There was more than enough staff there to check IDs at the door, so I could meet my friends when they got there. Other than those few hiccups I has a fantastic day of overindulgence with great people all around, I highly recommend the event, and hope it's planned a bit better next time.

I thought the event itself was well planned and I had a great time. Tasting all the wonderful food from local vendors was the best way to spend my Sunday. I enjoyed a lot of the wine from vineyards & makers I have never heard of. Big bonus for the Stella Artois tent, with take home souvenir glasses. I was able to make 1.5 rounds at the event. I was full by the end.

Aside from all this, there were a couple things that annoyed me. First, some vendors were either absent for their sessions or had run out of food before noon. Second, shuttle situation was a bit confusing-- drop off and pick up should be located in the same spot. I bet there were a lot of frustrated people. There were no signs posted on Rodeo that told you where the Two Rodeo Shuttle Parking was located. Also, there are barely any signs showing were to go once you get to the Hilton. Will Call was inconveniently located inside the hotel lobby, while the event entrance was located in the opposite direction of drop off point. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for parking (Self Parking for an extra $25!?!? Are you kidding me?)
