After more than five decades of performing and with more than 200 recordings under his belt, Canada's most famous folk-pop singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot continues to entertain. The multi-platinum-selling artist famous for his deep baritone and 12-string finger-picking skills had success in the 1960s with songs like "For Lovin' Me," "Early Morning Rain," "Steel Rail Blues" and "Ribbon of Darkness." But it was the recording of his songs by major names -- from Elvis Presley and John Mellencamp to Neil Young and Bob Dylan -- that solidified Lightfoot's name in the folk canon. With more than 20 albums and five Grammy nominations to his name, Lightfoot is in exclusive company as one of music's all-time greats. Learn More

Two local bands opened the show and then the 5th Dimension came on for an hour and a half, with a terrific show. The crowd was really into it and at the end when Marilyn McCoo and Billy Daniels who were in the audience, came on stage to sing with the current group, the entire audience stood up until the set ended. The Theater gave me 2 tickets in the 7th row, just to the left of center--great seats--hopefully because I was a red velvet member!!!

I commend Florence LaRue for keeping a Fifth Dimension group going when she's the only original member in the group since Billy Davis Jr. and Marilyn McCoo split off to do their own act. Leonard who is a new singer in the group is fantastic!
