Take to the high seas aboard the H.M.S. Pinafore, Gilbert & Sullivan's beloved comic operetta of mistaken identity, love, intrigue and duty in the British navy. This seaworthy satire spins the yarn of a gentlemanly captain who's arranged for his daughter to marry the First Lord of the Admiralty ... even though she's already in love with a common sailor on her father's ship. The show's signature hummable tunes include "I'm Called Little Buttercup," "When I Was a Lad" and "I Am the Captain of the Pinafore." Set against the looming backdrop of World War II, don't miss this dramatically reimagined production when it sails into the Howard Conn Fine Arts Center.

Who needs to pay $50 - $100 for national tours when we have talent like this right here! A great production all the way around. Loved the lighting design, and costumes, the set was so-so, the orchestra was wonderful and the singers were AMAZING. Dieter Bierbrauer, Dominique Wooten, Laurel Armstrong, William Gilness, and Sally Ann Wright stand out as Broadway quality singers and actors. The ensemble brought chills every time they sang! I love the size of the theater. It's large enough for a production of this size, but small enough to feel completely drawn in from every seat (I saw this production twice!). A wonderful night of theater.
