It was so much more than I expected. Anthony Rapp is multi-talented. His story (and his mother's) was very moving and powerful. A lot of grief worked out on stage.

The Modern Theatre is recently renovated and such a lovely, small theater. It made for a truly intimate theater going experience. On to Rapp's 'Without You'....SUCH a wonderful show. He expertly interlaces the story of RENT's charge to the spotlight, the loss of his good friend (Jonathan Larson) and his own mom through a mix of his own original songs, some highlights from RENT's soundtrack and commentary. By the end...there wasn't a dry eye in the house and the audience was on it's feet. I can't recommend this show enough.
