Duck Tours: See Boston Via Land & Water on Amphibious Vehicles

The tour suggests parking at the museum but we actually parked for free in a parking lot right at the river (on the southbound side of Storrow). It's adjacent to a playground/wading pool and just behind the state police station that is next to the museum.Boston Duck Tours info • May 27 2014 star this tip starred

Excellent tour of Boston by land and water! Our guide (Flo Waters) was very relatable, knowledgable, and hilarious. The water part of the tour was a bit overrated as there was not much to see, but kids (and adults if the tour group is small) get a chance to drive the boat for a few minutes. It was a great way to be a tourist in my own city.

The Duck Tour provided an enjoyable & entertaining tourist experience! I've been living in Boston for almost a year now and have explored the city on my own...this tour helped bring all the history and background to all the sites & landmarks...continued
The tour is nonstop and lasts approximately 80 minutes. The water portion lasts approximately 20 minutes. While the vehicle does splash into the Charles River, you will not get wet. You may, however, get a light spray while on the river depending upon the direction and strength of the wind.
