My son had asked me to take the duck tour several times. When I saw the deal I immediately jumped to the opportunity to take him to the tour. The driver was just perfect, he spoke in a very friendly manner, taught me a lot about Boston that I didn’t know, and allowed my son so drive the duck tour in the water, which made the experience much better.

Captain Mac was entertaining and knew his studff. If you don't like to walk and want a quick tour, then definitely take this tour. However, I don't think this tour was for me as I do like to explore a bit more and this is really a odd shaped vehicle that can take to road and water :) I think it's better to go on the Freedom Trail by foot so you can really get some good photo's which you probably wouldn't be able to do on a duck tour...

This was my second duck tour and it was informative and entertaining. Although it was pretty cold and the crowd was not very lively, the tour guide still did a great job keeping us involved and informed about the great city of Boston.

The tour is nonstop and lasts approximately 80 minutes. The water portion lasts approximately 20 minutes. While the vehicle does splash into the Charles River, you will not get wet. You may, however, get a light spray while on the river depending upon the direction and strength of the wind.
