Back for Spring 2012 and celebrating its 11th anniversary, Craftboston is offering a three-day pass to its premier New England show of contemporary art, craft and design. Some 200 artists showcase their wares, including one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces featuring baskets, ceramics, decorative fiber, wearables, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood. The show also features work by emerging artists from leading schools and universities, an artist mentoring program, a book seller, an educational lecture series, tours for guests who are blind and visually impaired, tours for other special-interest groups, and informational booths promoting non-profit craft organizations.

I had a great time at the CraftBoston art show. There were some spectacular artisans there and it was well set up. What a great day! Plus what a savings using Goldstar!

Excellent arts and crafts show, much larger than the Christmas time event. I would recommend at least 3 hours to really enjoy the wide variety of goods there.

Craftboston is New England’s premiere exhibition and sale of contemporary art, craft and design. Craftboston Spring takes place annually at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The shows will feature 200 of the most outstanding artists of our time, showcasing one-of-a- kind and limited-edition pieces in baskets, ceramics, decorative fiber, wearables, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood. Craftboston exhibitors offer a wide range of items priced from $10 to $10,000, ensuring that everyone can afford to bring some craft home.
