The headline act was awesome. There were couple of Noob stand-ups but the experienced ones are so funny and hilarious. I had a good time out with my girl friend at the Club. As this a Thursday show on a rainy day, there's not much turnout of the crowd. It could have been better with a full crowd. I'll go back for weekend shows.

Great night of comedy in one of Boston's best clubs. We've been to Mottley's several times and love the intimate atmosphere. All of the comics were really, really, funny, especially headliner Dave Rattigan.

Description

Welcome to Mottley's Comedy Club at Trinity, a totally different kind of Boston comedy club. Look - this city has one of the most legendary and vibrant comedy scenes in the country. So why should you go see the same old shows with the same three guys? Mottley's is where the old school meets the new school, where bona fide Boston comedy legends share the stage with incredible newcomers from around the country in a one-of-a-kind intimate performance space. The best comics with the freshest acts in the kind of club that launched the Boston scene? A comedy revolution indeed.

Thursdays at 8:00pm: Mottley's Comedy Showcase
Nate Johnson hosts a night filled with Boston's best comedians. This show is packed with veteran comedians that tour the country and new talent on the verge of stardom. Many of the comedians have been seen on Comedy Central, David Letterman, NBC and more.

February 17, 2012 at 8:00pm:  Best of Mottley's Comedy Showcase
Magners Comedy Festival winner Matt D hosts a tremendous lineup of the best young comics in Boston, including Raj Sivaraman, Brian Longwell, and Dan Crohn, plus other special guests. These are the acts most likely to break out and go to the next level, and you can come see them all on one show. The Boston comedy scene is probably the best in the country, and these young comics are the best of the best!

February 18 at 8:00pm:  Dave Rattigan

Dave Rattigan returns to Mottley's! One of the first headliners we booked, Dave's quick, dry wit makes him a popular choice at theater shows, comedy clubs, fund raisers and corporate events all over New England (he's also the guy Heidi Watney kicks out of a cab in the Olympia Sports commercial). Dave's joined by Magner's Comedy Festival winner Matt D and crowd favorite Mac Livingston.
