February 23 at 8PM: The Final Thursday Show with Nate Johnson
This final Thursday Show with Nate Johnson is a hilarious mix of Boston’s best standup and sketch comedy. Combining established veterans with up and coming new comics, as well as the occasional sketch act or "character" (ie. somebody in a fake moustache), The Thursday Show is full of surprises....ridiculous and hilarious surprises.

Featured comics include: Nate Johnson, EJ Murphy, Erik Levi, Gary Petersen, Mike Abramson, Sean Wilkinson, Shaun Bedgood & Steve Macone.

Mottley's Comedy Club farewell annoucement:

We are very sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, Mottley's Comedy Club will be closing after our final show on February 25th. While we are exploring the possibility of re-opening in a new location, we do not have any concrete plans at this time and thus must say our farewell.

It has been a tremendous ride, and we are proud to have helped produce so many amazing shows. It's been our honor to see so many young comics climb to the next level, to see established comics make some inroads with the industry, and to see Boston comedy continue to set the standard.

We certainly need to thank our customers, who consistently kept us full and grew with our comics. You've always supported us and we are forever grateful. We only ever had to kick out four drunks, and three of them were from New York.

Finally, we'd like to acknowledge our partners along the way - Trinity and the Driscoll family, Rooftop Comedy, TicketFusion, Eventbrite, Magners USA, the Women in Comedy Festival, and the Boston Comedy Festival - all excellent organizations that helped us create a once in a lifetime kind of club.

Three and a half years ago, we had an idea to open a comedy club that treated comedians like partners instead of employees, that reflected Boston in 2012 instead of 1988, and that was designed from the floor up to be an ideal space for the art of standup comedy. And for three and a half years we did exactly that.

Looks like that's our time. You guys have been great. Thank you!
