We went on the Dinner/Dance cruise July 18th. It was a beautiful night for it warm and breezy. My husband is a big guy 6'4" and hates cramped spaces. So as we boarded the hostess took us to a table for 4 we were 2, with open space behind him so he would not be crowded. And we had a window view. The service was great, although it took a while to get you drink order later in the evening. The boat was half full so we had plenty of room on the top deck to view the harbor. Food was excellent. Hubby said the salmon was cooked just right. I had the prime rib and it was very tender. Veggies were crisp and not over done. The DJ was good played a nice mix of music. Later in the evening things got really hopping on the floor and people were dancing with everyone else. The crowd was really nice.Written on Jul 23 2009

If we had paid full price, we would have been pretty upset, but since we only paid 1/2 of the original price, we were satisfied with everything, all of the wait staff were extremely nice, the DJ on my deck was great, boat was clean & well kept, the buffet stayed open from 10-12. maybe the dinner menu is better, but for the lunch menu, the salmon was about the only item that everyone loved, salad was good, oh and the desert too! the rest of it, not so good, pepper steak, rice, mac & cheese, chicken wings ...but again, the Gold Star price was great, I spoke to people who spent $80. each for a ticket, it' was not worth $80 , that's for sure, so go with the Gold Star price!Written on Jul 13 2009

Overall, it was a fun experience. I would give it a "B" grade. Long and slow check-in process was a bit tedious. Would have been a lot easier if they allowed patrons to download e-tickets and swipe bar code at the entrance gate. We ended up waiting in line for 20+ minutes and the ship didn't leave on time as a result. Also, the food was nothing to write home about. Long buffet lines resulted from understaffing at carver stations. Best part of the experience was the beautiful views from Boston Harbor and the entertainment. DJ and wait staff were very entertaining and truly tried to make it a positive experience for everyone.Written on May 31 2011

A wonderful way to view the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor. Ship left at 7:30pm and we were able to view them in daylight. When returning to the pier we saw them all lit up. Very impressive. Food, service and DJ made the trip even more enjoyable. Will certainly do another cruise in the future and recommend it to friends and guests from out of town.Written on Jul 14 2009
