We arrived after dinner and found ourselves standing in confusion upon entering the venue. Apparently, you need to arrive about one hour early in order to get a seat where you can see the stage. There was a security guard running around with folding chairs and we ended up sitting near the back of room. We could not see the stage as there are columns in the way. I watched the seating take place for people that came in later than us and noticed that if you slipped $20 to the security guard, you were ushered on to the main floor. We resigned ourselves to sitting in the back by the noisy bar area and listened to the comedians. The MC was lame and you could not understand what he was saying. The first two comedians were mediocre and the headliner was pretty funny. Not being able to watch and listen was certainly a detriment.Written on Mar 28 2011

The comedy was excellent, but the seating leaves something to be desired.Written on Mar 21 2011

We had a great night at Nick's. The guys at the front door were really nice and very helpful. We were early and wanted to get a bite to eat so they suggested we eat later because it was a sold out show. Minutes later the place started to fill up. We were grateful for the suggestion and we had 2nd row seats. The warm up comedians were entertaining and talented and Steve Sweeney was the headliner and he was fantastic. I was born and raised in the Boston area and that helped to understand some of Steve's material. His accents and impressions were right on. The waitress and the guys who were seating us where organized and pleasant. So thumbs up from my boyfriend and I. From Roberta and Al from Rozzy and WestieWritten on Nov 28 2011

We got there early and I'm glad we did because the place was very full and you get squeezed into seats. One big downer was the music they played for the hour that we sat waiting for the performers. It was Frank Sinatra for an hour (and they told us we better not leave lest we lose our seats). Though a huge fan of Frankie, it definitely did not pump me up for comedy. I felt sleepy by the time they came out on stage.Written on Mar 28 2011
The performers were alright, not great. The main event was one of the least funny too. There was a female that went who was hilarious but basically everyone else was hit or miss with each joke. It was a good experience and I was definitely laughing, but in the future I will probably not go back here.
