Curt is a young, jaded acting teacher. Anna's a pushy freshman preparing for an audition in a Shakespeare play. When she requests Curt's help and ends up getting a harsh critique, the encounter forms a powerful bond between the two in the psychological drama Breaking the Shakespeare Code. The pair's 16-year relationship plays out over three scenes as they deceive and manipulate one another while exploring the human nature in some of Shakespeare's most intricate works. Learn More

The House of Yes is a glimpse into the lives of a well-to-do household where secrets and lies are at the heart of the matter. Director Meghan Hamilton describes the play as “deliciously debaucherous, an exaggerated example of what can happen when the skeletons in your closet are left to pile up for far too long.” Witness what can happen to a person and what they can become capable of in a house where “No” is never the answer.
Wendy Macleod’s dark comedy, The House Of Yes, will be performed by Counter-Productions Theatre Company at The Factory Theatre. The play features founding company members Alison McCarthy (Jackie-O), Brian McCarthy (Marty) and Christina Kingsbury (Lesly), and CPTC newcomers Harry Miller Hobbs II (Anthony), and Jenny Gutbezahl (Mrs. Pascal).
